​​I'm Ms. Gebregergis (pronounced Geb-re-ger-gis) and this 2021-2022 school year will mark my 9th year as an elementary school teacher. Oh how time flies... What feels like just yesterday, I graduated from Georgia State University with an Early Childhood Education major and an ESOL endorsement.​ I've taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and fifth grade! This school year, I'll be teaching ELLs (English-language learners) listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Soy la Sra. Gebregergis (se pronuncia Geb-re-ger-gis) y este año escolar 2021-2022 marcará mi nueve año como maestra de escuela primaria. Oh, pero cómo pasa el tiempo ...  se siente como ayer, me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Georgia con una especialización en Educación de la Primera Infancia y un respaldo de ESOL. ¡Enseñé kinder, segundo grado y quinto grado! Este año escolar, voy a enseñar ELL (aprendices del idioma inglés) escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir.
